The NDP’s Andrea Horwath came out this past week with another demand from the Liberals in return for her support of the Liberal budget. We guess that Ms. Horwath didn’t complete her thought process when she made her demands before the budget was tabled and now wants to add some more “stuff”. Perhaps this is just the “demand of the week” and we’ll see another one next week to demonstrate that she really doesn’t want to support the budget. Seems like the NDP will continue to add “stuff” until the vote and then turn the budget down when the Liberals don’t cave in to the latest demand. The Toronto Star recently published their investigation into the status of various driving schools operating in the GTA. The oversight of this business sector is the responsiblity of the Ministry of Transportation that, based on the investigation, clearly is not doing its job. Liberals driving us around the bend on Provincial Transit
Let’s be clear about one thing: Ontario is being run by Toronto, and has been since the Liberals came to power in 2003. The focus during this stretch has been on the needs of Toronto, and even at this Ontario’s Liberals have done a really lousy job. So now Kathleen Wynne expects the rest of the Province to believe that her plan for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas is good for the entire Province. According to a recent report from Statistics Canada there are nearly 6 unemployed people in Canada for every job vacancy. Nation wide there are more than 1.2 million people out of work yet there were 221,000 job opening at the end of 2012.
